Approach

Zamárdi is the easiest to approch on the southern banks of the Lake Balaton and it's an exellent holiday centre.
Here goes by the m7 highway, the southern railway crosses it wich has 3 station in Zamárdi (Zamárdi, Zamárdi-felső, Balatonszéplak-alsó).

You can also get on the long-range bus services wich stop in Zamárdi on many bus-stops.

The ferry wich connects the northern and southern banks (Szántód-Tihany) of the Lake Balaton starts/arrives at the border of Zamárdi.
The airport wich can receive smaller planes, the Siófok-Kiliti airport is just 10 kms away. The sármelléki is 60 and the Budapest airport (ferihegy) is only 120kms away.
